With OurPact’s Screen Time Allowance, you can establish limits that work for your family while teaching your kids to budget their device time responsibly.

Develop Valuable Time Management Skills

How It Works:

Set Allowance Time:

• Tap the Allowance tile on your dashboard or navigate to the Rules section.
• Enable Allowance using the toggle at the top right.
• Customize daily limits (default is 2 hours).

Track Weekly Totals:

• See a weekly total of your child’s screen time at the top of the Allowance list.
• A green bar highlights the current day.

How Kids Use Allowance:

• Your child manages their Allowance through the OurPact Jr. app.
• To start screen time, they press Play in the app.
• When finished, they press Pause to save unused time.

Allowance time doesn’t pause automatically when the device is closed, encouraging kids to take responsibility by pausing it manually. This helps them stay mindful of their screen time and develop valuable time management skills.

When Allowance Runs Out:

• Once all time is used, apps will be unavailable, and the timer won’t be available again until the next day.

Monitor Usage:

• You can check your Ourpact dashboard to see if your child is actively using Allowance and how much time remains.
